Our family run business allows us to provide quality beekeeping equipment at affordable prices and still ensure a first class service. All of our hives and frames are manufactured in our own workshop in South-West Scotland. We strive to run our business as sustainably as possible. Last year, this led to the introduction of National hives manufactured from British Grown Cedar. Using locally sourced British Cedar allows us to support local businesses and reduce our carbon footprint. This and the rest of the timber used to manufacture our hives and equipment is always sourced from sustainable forests. Keeping our continued commitment to the environment, we use recycled packaging materials from local businesses as much as possible. Our sawdust and shavings are used in stables and farmers for animal bedding and all of our timber off-cuts are used as firewood to heat our premises.
We are pleased to announce that there are no prices increases for 2014; in fact we do have numerous price reductions.
We have invested in new machinery to increase our production of frames, which has enabled us to reduce the price of them by up to 25%.
We have some exciting new products for 2014 that you can find online. We also have plans for new stock to be released during the year so keep checking our website over the next few months to be kept up to date.
